Waveriders Wins Surfer Poll Award

September, 2009- Waveriders wins the prestigious Surfer Poll Award for Best Documentary.  The yearly event is often considered the Academy Awards of Surfing and Waveriders, which takes a look at the Irish surf culture, was the first ever European recipient of the award.  The acclaimed judges consist of Surfer Magazine Editorial staff, major surf filmmakers, and World Champion surfers, who named Waveriders “the most gripping and artful story of the bunch”.
