Revolver Entertainment is one of the UK & Eire’s leading ‘All Rights’ distribution companies, shaking up the industry with a unique approach to managing its enviable and edgy slate of Film and DVD releases.

Revolver EntertainmentSpecialists in delivering maximum media coverage and awareness via multi-platforms, with Revolver Books and 357 Records also operating under the Revolver umbrella, we are an aggressive all rights brand marketing entity, with in-house Theatrical, Home Entertainment and Digital Sales, and a large marketing and publicity team handling all our titles.

Recent releases have seen us work with several groundbreaking directors such as Werner Herzog (Encounters At The End Of The World), Charlie Kaufman (Synecdoche, New York), Steven Soderbergh (The Girlfriend Experience) and Jim Jarmusch (The Limits of Control), whilst our charity war compilation release, Heroes: The Greatest War Movies Ever! garnered us support from renowned filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg on behalf of the charity Help For Heroes.

During 2009, Revolver launched Gunslinger, a standalone production arm, designed to develop, finance and produce feature films, and the first production, the action thriller Shank, was a theatrical success in the UK with a box office figure in excess of $850,000 when it was released in March 2010.

2010 has also been a record-breaking year already for Revolver in terms of DVD and Blu-ray sales, with Dead Man Running (featuring Danny Dyer and Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson) seeing our highest ever Week 1 sales, smashing into the new release chart at number 2 and an overall chart position of number 5.

Cary Fukunaga’s epic foreign language gangland drama Sin Nombre also exceeded sales forecasts, gaining a new release chart position on number 7, and our horror releases Salvage and Tony were hits when released across several platforms, including Sky Box Office and iTunes, at the same time as their DVD releases. Our catalogue titles also continue to sell-through in 2010 in large volumes, with such titles as City Rats, Tyson, Borstal Boy and Kidulthood regularly holding high positions in the top 200 charts week after week.

Looking forward, the DVD releases of Shank, The Infidel and Banksy’s Exit Through The Gift Shop all look set to make big splashes following their theatrical successes and our multi-platform releases continue with Pimp and Basement (both featuring Danny Dyer) as well as Bonded By Blood, a new version of the infamous Land Rover Murders.

Revolver USA also continues to go from strength to strength as a distributor with an ever-increasing release schedule and deals in place with Apple’s iTunes, X-Box, Netflix and Amazon, amongst others, for upcoming titles such as UK horror Salvage, Sparkle (featuring Bob Hoskins) and the sexually explicit Destricted.

With one of the best slates in the company’s history (13 Theatrical and over 70 Home Entertainment releases), and such an incredible start to the year, there can be little doubt that 2010 looks set to be Revolver’s most successful year to date.
